The Software & QA Engineering group is responsible for excellence in engineering, implementing and operating business systems and processes in support of the enterprise. The group leads with a culture of clean code and architecture, continuous improvement, innovation and automation.
The candidate for this role is a technologist at heart with a deep understanding of modern software testing practices and automation frameworks used to ensure the quality and reliability of applications across the business value chain. This role will be expected to build and maintain a comprehensive test automation infrastructure, as well as contribute to the design and implementation of robust, scalable test solutions using a variety of programming languages and testing tools. They will work closely with developers and product teams to embed quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle and ensure that software assets are delivered with high reliability and performance.
Job Responsibilities
Define QA requirements, user story specifications, architecture, design & specifications and test conditions for our new programmatic platform
Design, build, and improve our testing automation framework using industry standards
Actively participate in planning, estimation, and prioritisation processes to ensure QA perspective across the software development lifecycle
Implement BDD methodology aligned with TDD
Drive Automation across all areas in testing (Unit, Spec, API, Integration, Infrastructure, etc…)
Enable Automation in the CI/CD pipelines
Champion the Release Management from the Custom Applications point of view
Build and maintain a QA reporting capabilities (Living Docs, Test reports)
Work with other Software and Platform Engineers to ensure consistent end to end coverage
Research new technologies and propose improvements ongoing
Serves as escalation point for technical problems and maintenance for Support team
Supporting the team with QA (Quality Assurance), Regression Testing, SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User acceptance testing) phases of an implementation

Shell: Powershell or similar (Bash)

Azure or AWS experience
Terraform knowledge
