At Disney Experiences Technology, our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands including Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. The Disney Experiences Technology team is responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including the MyDisneyExperience app and Hey, Disney!
You Will
Lead the delivery of data modeling, data contract design & creation, and product lifecycle management for enterprise data products.
Define and evolve data product strategies aligned with financial and operational objectives.
Serve as a subject matter expert on data modeling, and integration practices.
Partner with engineering leads to ensure scalable, performant, and secure data solutions.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment and transparency.
Analyze and work on gap analysis for management of financial and operational data pipelines from various sources into a modernized platform.
Develop and manage timelines, budgets, acceptance criteria, and service levels for data initiatives.
Represent the data product function in executive-level discussions and strategic planning.
You Have
7+ years of experience delivering data solutions, including direct leadership of engineering teams and studios.
Proven experience in data product management, with a strong focus on financial or operational data domains.
Strong data modelling design and documentation skills following the full delivery life cycle of business engagement through to conceptual, logical and physical data design and project delivery; supporting business units’ data, business intelligence and AI/ML needs
Deep technical knowledge of platforms and tools such as AWS, Snowflake, dbt, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CDK).
Experience with streaming data processing concepts including batch and real-time in-the-moment insight creation and distribution
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
Deep technical authority on data engineering delivery practices, able to speak to capabilities and processes to multiple levels of the organization
Experience working in the hospitality, travel, or entertainment industry is a plus.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field and/or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Education
Master’s degree in a related field.

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, California and Glendale, CA is $155,700 to $208,700 per year and in Seattle, Washington is $163,100 to $218,700 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
