As an Ad Platform Technical Operations Senior Solutions Engineer supporting the Ad Platforms technology team at Disney, you are a part of a high-performing team redefining TV advertising. We’re seeking an ambitious Senior Solutions Engineer who will be responsible for owning day-to-day technical operations for ad policy compliance and auditing at DEET. Our successful candidate enjoys solving complex and technical problems, is an innately investigative thinker, works with a sense of urgency, has experience with critical service operations, and strives to provide a high standard of customer satisfaction in high-volume, production environments.
In this role, you will ensure that all marketplace activities meet Disney’s compliance standards and regulatory expectations. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing compliance protocols for new automation audit processes, helping to scale and streamline policy enforcement across platforms. The team is fast-moving and requires you to translate technology solutions into business impact, while efficiently working with developers, sales, product, and operations. For this particular role, you should be well-versed in ad technology and distributed systems and comfortable getting into the details of operational mechanics. You will be accountable for the monitoring and health of the Compliance team.
What You’ll Do
Establish robust monitoring dashboards and alerting systems for production services, with particular emphasis on ad policy enforcement and data governance workflows. Maintain preparedness to analyze and investigate any instances of ad policy or compliance violations.
Triage, respond to, and de-escalate inbound escalations (tickets) related to ad policy violations, data integrity issues, and governance exceptions. Maintain a high standard of professionalism and client satisfaction while resolving sensitive compliance matters.
Develop strong partnerships with sales, support, engineering, product management, and analytics leaders to align ad policy enforcement strategies and data governance objectives with broader channel goals—ensuring consistent compliance across all touchpoints.
Maintain detailed support documentation for internal and external stakeholders that outlines ad policy protocols, data governance standards, and audit procedures.
Identify trends and proactively address recurring compliance gaps.
Contribute to the development of best practices, team processes, and peer training focused on scalable ad policy enforcement, automation of audit workflows, and governance maturity across platforms.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or a related discipline.
5+ years of experience in ad technology, operations, support, or incident management.
Deep expertise in ad policy principles, enforcement frameworks, and industry best practices, with a strong foundation in compliance. Familiarity with global privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA are essential to ensure responsible data handling and policy adherence across advertising platforms.
Fluency in SQL with advanced query capabilities. Extensive experience with AWS Athena, DynamoDB, MySQL, Snowflake, or Hive, including performance tuning and data architecture.
Extensive working knowledge of ad trafficking workflows in an enterprise Ad Server like Google Ad Manager, Freewheel, or similar systems, including complex troubleshooting and optimization.
Proven experience managing and optimizing a support ticket queue in JIRA, Zendesk, or similar systems, with a focus on process improvement and team efficiency.
Expert working knowledge of monitoring platforms (Cloudwatch, Datadog, Pagerduty, or similar platforms), including alert configuration, dashboard creation, and incident response automation.
The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles is $126,400.00 to $169,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
