About the Role & Team

The Walt Disney Company’s Benelux Media Networks exploits multiple channels. Besides Disney Channels, this also includes 24 Kitchen, Baby TV, ESPN, Star and National Geographic. The Benelux Finance team provides financial planning, reporting & analysis for all activities in the region.

This role will require you to be working 4 days a week in our office and 1 day from home. 

What You Will Do

  • Preparation of detailed annual budget and quarterly forecasts, including system submission and consolidation.

  • Frequent business reviews, to develop thorough understanding of the business and its competitive challenges, including monitoring subscriber trends and cost control.

  • Ad-hoc analyses and projects for key business initiatives and strategies, including deal analysis.

  • Preparation of quarterly (internal) financial reporting, including P&L review and accrual documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Fluency in Dutch and English both in writing and speaking.

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • Strong level of proficiency in Excel – experience with SAP is preferred.

  • Proactive Behavior – Strong desire to learn new things and a will to tackle and solve problems with a can-do attitude, combined with a sense of initiative, autonomy, and responsibility. Desire to work in a result and team-oriented environment.

  • Analytical Champion – Analytical capabilities, excellence in structured thinking and the capability to develop a clear understanding of the business’ needs and translate them into actionable solutions.

  • Communicates Effectively – Communicate clearly and open to all levels within the organization. Involve stakeholders in upcoming deadlines so that timing can be aligned to reach the best possible result.

  • Exhibits Professional Excellence – Models personal integrity and high sense of confidentiality. Acts with integrity when it is not easy to do so.
