The Coordinator for the Casting Administration Department at Disney Television Animation (DTVA) and 20th Television Animation (20th TVA), two high-volume production studios of animated series and shorts, is responsible for creating and processing contracts for voice actors, coordinating the hiring of teachers for sessions involving minors, preparing and maintaining data spreadsheets for research and tracking, processing time sheets, managing special administrative projects, and performing a variety of administrative duties, while also supporting the Production/Casting Department as well as the Business Affairs and Legal Affairs teams across both DTVA and 20th TVA.
Primary Responsibilities:
Contract Administration
- Request and process SAG-AFTRA clearances and confirm performer tax status.
- Ensure compliance with studio and union practices throughout contract approval and negotiation workflows.
- Manage the full contract life cycle: database entry, DocuSign execution, and digital archiving.
- Prepare and process paperwork for court approval of Minors
- Process and archive timesheets and deal memorandums.
- Hire studio teachers/welfare workers for minor sessions.
- Process teacher timecards for payment.
- Prepare Taft-Hartley Reports per SAG-AFTRA guidelines.
- Implement procedural updates requested by TVA Business & Legal.
- Oversee and update confidential databases containing project, performer, and agent information
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of correlated administrative experiences.
- Understanding of business administration and contractual processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and collaborative demeanor.
- A proactive self- starter is required.
- Ability to track and organize a large volume of details, data, and tasks
- Proficiency in computer applications and administrative software.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $54,000.00 to $72,300.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
