Job Summary:

Disney Entertainment Television is seeking an Executive Assistant to support two Vice Presidents who lead the Production Shared Services and Production Safety departments.  This role is currently in-person 4 days a week based in Burbank, CA and will provide administrative support to the two Vice Presidents.

Production Shared Services is a collection of teams that provide support to the TV production departments of DET including 20th Television, FX Productions, and Disney Branded Television.  Support departments include Transportation, Costume Rentals, Asset Management, and Production Environmental Sustainability. 

Production Safety is a global team that provides support to the TV production departments of DET including 20thTelevision, FX Productions, Disney Channel and Disney Branded Television, as well as Studio production departments including Marvel, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Fox, and Searchlight Pictures in the US, Canada and UK regions. 

This role will provide essential support to the VPs of Shared Services and Production Safety, helping to organize their calendars to ensure effective time management across team leadership, production stakeholder engagement, partnerships across the company/ industry, and other priorities. Additionally, the role will help to organize meetings, track and organize performance data from the respective departments overseen, and collate inputs from a wide variety of sources to be utilized by the VPs and their respective teams in determining the strategic direction and path for each department.

Responsibilities:

  • Support assigned executives by maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing documents and reports, managing contacts, and covering phones when needed.
  • Work with executives to produce meeting agendas, stakeholder presentations, status reports, and other updates.
  • Manage executive travel and expense reports when needed.
  • Work with VP, Production Shared Services and VP, Production Safety to align schedule and meetings to meet the strategic objectives of the department, determining best ways to manage team members and stakeholders across multiple locations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years’ administrative experience in a corporate environment, preferably within production
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook for calendar management
  • Highly tech-savvy with proficiency in Airtable and PowerPoint; proactive and organized with a confident, adaptable, and personable approach to dynamic environments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to multi-task and organize multiple projects, with excellent follow-through
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to interface with internal and external executives and colleagues in a collaborative and solution-oriented fashion
  • Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team and with professionals at all levels

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and/or interest in learning about television production and production services
  • Experience as a Production Office Coordinator preferred, with proven ability to manage workflows and support complex projects
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset
  • Proven ability to anticipate executive needs and navigate ambiguity

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $54,000 to $72,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
