Job Summary:

About the Role & Program:

The D23 Marketing Intern works closely with all members of the D23 team to drive acquisition and retention for The Official Disney Fan Club. Daily tasks will vary from supporting marketing and partnership initiatives, maintaining performance trackers and marketing calendars, and actively participating in meetings.  This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Glendale, CA area from January 2026-June 2026.  
 

What You Will Do:

You’ll assist with marketing responsibilities as needed by members of the D23 Marketing team, including management of Marketing calendar and meeting facilitation.  On any given day, you might:

  • Coordinate the creation of marketing assets for various campaigns, working with Marketing, Editorial, Social, and Graphics teams
  • Help create and own the updating of marketing campaign strategy resources to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met
  • Traffic assets, managing spreadsheets, and tracking all aspects of D23 promotional campaigns
  • Prepare Keynote campaign recap presentations that include performance metrics, key learnings & actionable recommendations and, presenting these to the leadership team
  • Write and proofread copy for D23 emails and other marketing initiatives
  • Build and foster relationships across D23 and other TWDC teams


Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, demonstrating analytic skills with strong proficiency in Excel and presentation experience with PowerPoint and/or Keynote
  • Proven ability to successfully prioritize and handle multiple tasks and be able to work under pressure and within quick timelines
  • Excellent note-taking skills, within meetings, to find the key points of the conversation and capture after-action responsibilities
  • Well-developed writing and grammatical skills; including copywriting and proofreading ability
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with a high sense of responsibility and confidentiality
  • Fast learner with a genuine interest in the Walt Disney Company history including films, animation, television, and theme parks as well as knowledge of the marketing function of D23


Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience working on website and digital marketing projects, relationship management and integration, and posting and writing in the voice/tone of an organization
  • Proven campaign and event planning experience
  • Experience with WordPress or other CMS


Education:

  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Marketing or related major preferred


Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization


Additional Information:

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026 – June 2026
  • Candidate should be available to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
  • This internship is currently in the office Monday through Thursday and work from home on Fridays, with occasional nights and weekends for events, subject to change without notice
  • Able to provide own housing and transportation for work in the Glendale, CA area

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
