As Senior HR Program Manager (Project Hire) you will lead complex, high-visibility HR initiatives supporting the organizational and talent strategy for our new Technology Bangalore office. You’ll partner with DEEP&T HR Business Partner team, business leaders, HR Specialty partners and APAC HR to operationalizing a holistic talent strategy and workforce plan that build a scalable, culturally resonant, and strategically aligned HR foundation.
You will lead initiatives that address the unique complexities of a dual workforce model (Disney direct hires and vendor hires), build culture and onboarding frameworks at scale, integrate with strategic partners, and activate localized infrastructure and policies tailored to India’s technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with the HR and business leadership to translate strategic workforce goals into executable plans, ensuring alignment with business priorities and local nuances.
- Develop and implement onboarding, culture-building programs, talent development, performance plans for a hybrid workforce, including a tailored culture playbook for India.
- Translate business needs into structured project plans, ensuring clear outcomes, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
- Coordinate with vendor partners to ensure cultural integration, operational alignment, consistent employee experience and transfer process.
- Lead employer branding and communications efforts to position Disney as an employer of choice in Bangalore.
- Continuously evaluate and iterate workforce plans and HR support model to support phased hiring a scale.
- Manage cross-functional execution across HR, Finance, Legal, and Technology, driving accountability and stakeholder alignment.
- Monitor and report on program health, including dashboards, milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain detailed project documentation, including charters, roadmaps, and executive updates.
- Conduct discovery and analysis to define scope, assess feasibility, and develop business cases.
- Develop and execute change management strategies to support adoption and sustainability.
- Communicate effectively across all levels, tailoring messaging for executive, regional, and functional audiences.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HR project management, transformation, or enterprise program delivery.
- Proven ability to lead regional initiatives with global alignment.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and planning skills.
- Experience working across geographies and virtual teams.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and influence through data and storytelling.
- Must be able to work across different time zones, including India Standard Time (IST), with flexibility in working hours.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting global technology organizations or enterprise-wide HR programs.
- Background in change management, Lean Six Sigma, or process improvement.
- Multi-country project scope or international experience.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Familiarity with Disney’s businesses and culture.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $168,200.00 to $205,400.00 per year. The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $176,200.00 to $215,200.00 per year. The hiring range for this remote position is $160,200.00 to $225,00.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
