If selected for this role, you will report to the Manager, Social Media Marketing Strategy. The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026 to June 2026

What You Will Do 
Are you a content creator? Are you someone who spends most of their time scrolling, capturing and editing content? Do you have a passion to learn how to do this professionally? As a Social Media Marketing Strategy Intern with Disney’s Consumer Products Marketing Team, you will produce innovative and conceptual social media ideas to support Disney’s consumer products business. You will participate in ideation sessions with the marketing teams. You will have the opportunity to show your creative thinking skills and social media savvy while working across a range of social platforms, including YouTube.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Ideate content concepts for Disney products on social platforms and analyze performance 

  • Capture and edit content, producing multiple deliverables weekly

  • Build community for social platform handles, engaging with content and connecting with followers and provide generational knowledge into Gen Z trends and way of thinking 

  • Be an active participant and work with team to develop social media plans/calendars 

  • Work to develop influencer lists for gifting opportunities tied to our products

Required Qualifications & Skills 

  • Actively engaged on a wide array of social media platforms with knowledge of content formats, functionality, and the latest trends 

  • Experience in content creation 

  • Ability to improve social content formats creatively 

  • Partnership and relationship skills

  • Experience with TikTok as a user and creator 

  • Creatively minded with the ability to inspire creative teams 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop & Illustrator 

  • Previous experience social marketing entertainment brands or experiences 

  • Previous work experience in marketing strategy, consumer packaged goods, advertising agency and/or brand management

Education 

  • Junior or Senior year preferred

  • Major or previous coursework in Marketing, Communications, PR, Design, or a related major preferred

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information 

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application posting, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship​

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

  • Be at least 18 years of age​

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization​

Additional Information

  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026 to June 2026

  • Ability to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) Monday - Friday, for the duration of the internship with possible evenings and weekends if necessary

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work, and provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale, California area

The pay rate for this role in Glendale, California, is $22.50 per hour.
