This role is part of the End-user and Technical Operations organization. Our mission is to deliver world-class operational support of all systems, services, devices, and tools used by Disney employees and end users – including the Help Desk and day-to-day operations for end-user support, data centers, databases, application operations, incident and problem management, and the network operations center. The Analyst will create operational analytics across Disney’s technology ecosystem, maximizing technology availability.
Job Summary:
As part of Disney’s Enterprise Technology organization, this role focuses on strengthening service reliability and operational visibility across critical technology platforms. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and development teams to design and implement monitoring strategies, real time dashboards, and self-service analytics that safeguard service health and availability.
Key responsibilities include building operational intelligence dashboards, creating visualizations to detect anomalies, and developing predictive analytics that improve incident response and reduce mean time to restore (MTTR). You will partner with Operations teams to capture requirements, shape decision making, and deliver reporting that protects business critical service level agreements.
By leveraging advanced analytics such as anomaly detection, adaptive thresholds, and predictive health scoring, you’ll enable proactive issue prevention while driving automation, root cause analysis, and ITSM integrations. This role is central to advancing Disney’s overall IT Service Delivery, ensuring reliable, data driven operations that support the enterprise at scale.
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
Basic Qualifications:
- Foundational skills in data analysis and scripting, with the ability to use Python (or similar languages) for data manipulation, automation, and reporting
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI
- Familiarity with SQL and cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake to extract, clean, and join datasets
- Experience with data visualization concepts and ability to create clear, simple dashboards to communicate insights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dig into data and identify patterns, anomalies, and trends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques such as statistical modeling, data mining, or machine learning applied to operational or support datasets
- Experience working with large-scale, high-dimensional data to drive operational improvements
- Knowledge of IT service delivery environments (e.g., service desk, onboarding, field support) and ability to translate operational needs into data insights
- Experience with reporting in platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Desk is highly valuable.
- At least 1 year of experience in business analytics, data science, business intelligence, or a related role
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
