About the Role & Program
The Disney Decision Science and Integration (DDSI) team supports clients across The Walt Disney Company, including Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, Disney Cruise Line, Media Networks (i.e. ABC, ESPN), Studio Entertainment, Disney Theatrical Group (e.g., Broadway shows), and Disney Interactive Media in the core proficiencies of yield management, revenue planning, forecasting, pricing, and optimization. Key partners to the DDSI organization include Marketing, Finance, Business Development, Research, and Operations. Roles within DDSI develop, analyze, and implement strategies to enhance profitability and improve the value proposition for our Guests, Cast Members, and Shareholders.
The Data Analytics consulting team uses technology, data analytics, optimization, statistical, and econometric modeling to explore opportunities, shape business decisions, and drive business value. Candidates should have a natural curiosity to understand the "why" behind business performance, take a proactive role in problem-solving, and be able to prioritize and be teammates in a collaborative environment.
What You Will Do
Graduate Associates make an impact by supporting marketing, distribution, finance, and supply chain projects that build a strong return on Company investments. As a Graduate Associate, you will help in this process by:
Collecting, validating, and maintaining data in R, Python, and SQL
Generating periodic and ad hoc forecasts, while maintaining results
Applying analytics to address marketing and finance business questions
Developing analytical solutions for cross-segment clients
Maintaining technical system documentation
Performing industry research and benchmark analysis
Preparing client deliverables
Implementing visualization tools, developing dashboards, and reporting
Performing exploratory and quantitative analysis of demand & sales data
Required Qualifications & Skills
Strategic problem-solving & analytical skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Proven experience with Tableau
Confirmed proficiency with SQL, Python, and R to perform data manipulation or modeling
Statistics or Econometrics background
Experience collecting & analyzing data and reporting on the results
Excellent oral/written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to adapt to an evolving business environment and balance multiple opposing priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Experience using R Shiny, DBeaver, Databricks, or GitHub/GitLab
Knowledge of forecasting methods and techniques
Previous work experience in statistics, and statistical analysis, including hypothesis formulation, experimental design, significance-setting, and post-experiment analysis
Experience in retail, eCommerce, consumer products, merchandising, marketing, entertainment, or finance
Education
Currently enrolled as a Graduate level student, pursuing a graduate degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
The approximate dates of this program are January 2026 to June 2026
Able to have reliable transportation to/from work and provide own housing
Fully available from Monday-Friday for the duration of the position, 40 hours per week
