Job Summary:

Job Requirements

Ready to make magic? We’re hiring for our 12-month undergraduate placement schemes.

This internship offers the opportunity to support the technology and operational workflows that help Disney manage, localise and deliver content to audiences across EMEA. Both roles within this remit would suit someone who is curious about the technology and systems behind entertainment, and provide exposure to Disney’s extensive Linear Television, Disney+, Content Sales and Video on Demand businesses.

You’ll join a team grounded in our Disney values; acting with Integrity, welcoming everyone through Inclusion, embracing boundless Creativity, working together through Collaboration and caring deeply for our Community.

These values shape how we work and how we support one another every day.

By applying for this internship, you will be considered for the below opportunities. If you have a preference for a particular remit, please state this in your cover letter.

Broadcast Technology and Operations

You will assist the media engineering team with the support and development of Disney’s media asset management and content supply chain systems. You will be a valuable member of the team conducting a range of technical, administrative, and organisational tasks. You will be responsible for logging, tracking & resolving issues raised by our end users for our media management systems, as well as working closely with third party support teams to troubleshoot and resolve technology problems and updating documentation. This role may particularly appeal to candidates interested in media systems, technical troubleshooting and understanding how content moves through a digital supply chain.

Content & Localization Management

Have you ever wondered how Disney creates localized content from movies to TV shows and distributes them to audiences across the world? As an intern within this team, you will support workflows related to the tracking and delivery of localized dubbing and subtitling assets across EMEA, for projects across multiple brands including Disney Branded Television, ABC and National Geographic. You will also help us to conduct data-driven business analysis to identify opportunities to automate and improve workflows whilst getting a rounded exposure to technology, operations, data, and finance. By the end of your internship, you will have built your skills in project management, data analysis, and financial reporting whilst building softer skills in stakeholder management, time management, and executive communications.

This is an office-based internship. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).
