About The Role & Team

Step into the magic of Disney as our next Digital Marketing Assistant! In this dynamic role, you’ll create captivating digital content and help bring Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and Disneyland Paris to life online for UK and European audiences.

You’ll write engaging copy, collaborate with our Digital Product and Engineering teams, and manage content across multiple websites. If you’re a creative storyteller with content management systems (CMS) experience, strong organisational skills, and a flair for teamwork, we can’t wait to see what you’ll bring to our team.

This is a permanent position located at our London office in Hammersmith, requiring four days of on-site attendance per week.

What You Will Do

  • Provide support to the Digital Marketing Team in developing new website content for product and offer launches at Disney Parks.
  • Conduct content audits to recommend improvements and ensure all website information is accurate and fully optimised.
  • Collaborate with digital teams located in the U.S. and France to activate website initiatives.
  • Assist Digital Marketing Executives in implementing new content on DisneyHolidays.xx domains via the Content Management System.
  • Contribute to the creation of PPC advertisements alongside the Digital Marketing Executives and Media Team.
  • Liaise closely with the Engineering and Digital Product Teams, demonstrating a thorough understanding of UX best practices to drive ongoing optimisation of the user journey.
  • Develop and update pre- and post-booking consumer touchpoints, including guest documentation, marketing collateral, and IVR messaging.
  • Support the broader DDI Marketing team by addressing queries and providing materials related to Walt Disney Travel Company International (WDTCI), safeguarding accuracy in product and messaging representation.
  • Oversee the Frequently Asked Questions section of the website in collaboration with the operations team.
  • Demonstrate expertise in SEO/GEO best practices and contribute to Search and GenAI optimisation efforts.
  • Assist the Affiliate channel through administrative tasks, development of marketing materials, management of marketing initiatives, and communication of product updates.
  • Ensure the Finance Tracking File remains current and facilitate the raising of Purchase Orders as needed.
  • Provide assistance to the Promotional and PR team when required to enhance the presence of WDTCI.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a similar field.
  • Marketing qualification is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in a digital marketing role within a large multinational environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to implement marketing plans with practical tactical skills.
  • Knowledge or experience with affiliate marketing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with JIRA is beneficial.
  • Experience writing effective and engaging copy is required.
  • Marketing experience across multiple EMEA markets is considered an advantage.
  • Organised, able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Ability to manage several projects within a dynamic work environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to write clear and compelling copy.
  • Presentation skills for both virtual and in-person formats.
  • Proven interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong written and spoken English for business use is essential.
  • Other European languages are not required but are desirable.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and video conferencing tools such as Zoom is essential.
