We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our EMEA Motion Pictures team!

The Motion Pictures team is responsible for the sales and distribution of approximately 20 cinematic releases per year across the Marvel, Lucas, Disney, Pixar, 20th Century and Searchlight brands.

As a Senior Finance Analyst within the team, the successful individual will be responsible for delivering an effective, timely and accurate AOP, Forecast, FYP and close process across a group of markets alongside Regional consolidation. The role requires effective collaboration with financial and non-financial business partners, the ability to influence key budget holders around risks and opportunities and proactively identify opportunities for business and process improvement.

Please note: This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).

What You Will Do

  • Analyze and interpret reports and wider business data to identify risks and opportunities for Motion Pictures

  • Prepare presentations to communicate clear financial messages to Senior management as well as non-technical audiences

  • Use own initiative to highlight problems before they arise and propose solutions to mitigate business risk

  • Provide financial support to multiple budget owners across multiple geographies, ensuring all budgeting, forecasting and financial processing is delivered on time and to high quality standards

  • Consolidate Regional views of Motion Pictures throughout forecasting and planning cycles

  • Share knowledge effectively across the function to facilitate good financial management and support the development of others

  • Mentor intern, allocating and reviewing work, and supporting their technical and professional development

  • Build relationships with key budget holders to provide specialist advice, guidance and support to help Motion Pictures’ financial management in addition to forecast accuracy

  • Influence key budget holders on the basis of identified risks and opportunities to help guide future business planning 

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • An experienced Senior Finance Analyst, possessing full ACA / CIMA Qualification or equivalent.

  • Experience of working within the Studios Finance sector preferably for a US corporation.

  • Experience of supporting commercial management to a high standard and working with the Regional Finance and Commercial head office.

  • Demonstrable track record of providing commercial support to a business partner that’s insightful, timely and responsive.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Ability to produce clear and insightful analysis that deliver key messaging at the appropriate level of detail.

  • Numerate and analytical with a desire to think through and resolve problems.
