About the Role & Team
This role will provide planning and scheduling expertise to support all Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Cruise Line project teams and functional disciplines involved in the delivery of new build cruise ships.
You will develop comprehensive implementation strategies and ensure that all key deliverables are clearly incorporated into project schedules. You will prepare project lifecycle plans and master schedules, giving you a clear, end-to-end view of the project timeline.
You will integrate schedules across all areas — including design disciplines, vendors, production and construction — so you can bring together a cohesive and comprehensive project perspective.
You will monitor progress, evaluate risks and proactively develop recovery or mitigation plans to help keep the project on track for turnover and opening milestones.
This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home. You will also be required to travel frequently.

What You Will Do
Lead development and maintenance of New Build Cruise Ship integrated project schedules across design, production, construction, installation and testing and trials.
Responsible for analysis of critical path and early identification of emerging risks. Lead development and implementation of recovery measures when required in agreement with the shipyard and executive management.
Lead development of schedule health indicator reports for presentation to executive management.
Lead coordination and integration of owner furnished equipment and Disney third party vendors ensuring that the shipyard installation and the master integrated project schedule are aligned.
Lead development and implementation of project scheduling processes, tools, and deliverables.
Lead project schedule reporting and planning sessions with all levels of project and organizational management.
Lead manpower loading/resource analysis, and develop and status earned man-hour progress curves as required
Responsible for preparation of the schedule reporting specifications for the contract bid packages and determining Schedule Milestones and/or Key Dates for incorporation into the Contract Specification.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Significant years of project planning / scheduling in marine, shipyard, cruise ship or large vessel environments
Confidence with Critical Path Method scheduling experience (project scheduling software used is P6)
Strong understanding of Marine & Technical including but not limited to Block Fabrication and Hull erection, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, Marine Propulsion, Hotel / Architectural Outfitting, Systems Integration and Testing & Sea Trials.
Extensive project delivery experience in cruise ships or large vessels as a project team member for a Shipyard, Cruise Line, or Subcontractor.
Proven experience coordinating and integrating owner furnished equipment (OFE) throughout hotel and specialty venues during pre and post-delivery phases to ensure operational readiness, commissioning and maiden voyage readiness.
Confident in interpreting and integration of mid-level and fine detail planning into a level 3-4 integrated project schedule.
Strong understanding of marine procurement lead times and long lead items and material tracking and installation sequencing.
Solid understanding of mandatory regulatory inspections and flag-state compliance requirements.
Good understanding of practical project controls applications and earned value measurement
Preferred Qualifications
Prior supervisory experience of junior team members
Industry relevant certifications or completed course studies
Work experience in the following industries: Theme parks, Cruise Lines, Major Resort, show/ride product lines
BS degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management. Specific education in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture preferred.
German language skills are beneficial
