Job Summary:

Ready to make magic? We’re hiring for our 12-month undergraduate placement schemes.

By undertaking an internship in one of our Technology and IT teams, you will be fully integrated into the day-to-day activities, monitoring the performance of our technology stack and providing solutions to any issues or queries. These internships will strengthen your IT skills and knowledge of how they are applied to a global business.

We have multiple internships available across different lines of business. By applying for this opportunity, you will be considered for one of the below areas. If you have a particular preference, please note this in your cover letter.

Disney Experiences (DX)

DX provides opportunities for our guests and consumers to experience the magic through our park experiences and Disney Consumer Products (known as DCP). Internships in this remit will provide IT system analysis and support services to stakeholders across our Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, focusing on Business Applications for the core DX applications. These roles are key to ensure customer expectations are managed, services are fulfilled for internal and external customers.

Quality Analyst (QA)

This internship will primarily be working to the framework of the team’s processes and procedures to deliver software and system testing services. During the internship you will develop a comprehensive understanding of our business and expert in the software packages used by our customers. You will be exposed to analysis, development and project management processes and involved in full lifecycle testing. In addition to technical skills, you will develop in the areas of communication and negotiation.

Solutions Engineer

During this internship you will become experienced and gain full exposure to the support lifecycle. You will be involved in working with business stakeholders across EMEA to understand their queries and issues, provide solutions and manage expectations accordingly. You will develop a good understanding of the stakeholders’ workflows, priorities and become an expert in the software and solutions which are used by them.

Disney Enterprise Technology (DET)

We are looking for interns to join as Platform and Software Engineers within DET. You will deliver technology solutions which align to business strategies while enabling efficiency and promoting cross-company collaborative innovation. This remit of the organisation drives competitive advantage by enhancing our consumer experiences, enabling business growth, and advancing operational excellence.

Information Security

These internships are part of the EMEA Information Security team and close collaboration with technology teams and business units to analyse, manage, and mitigate risk. You will provide security guidance and supporting international TWDC projects to ensure all security requirements adhere to Disney Information Security Policies and Standards.

Information Technology

In this internship you’ll be fully immersed in the day-to-day operations of our global supply chain technology teams. You will play a key role supporting The Disney Stores (TDS), you will monitor and optimise the performance of our cutting-edge technology stack, swiftly resolving issues and delivering solutions to keep the supply chain moving. You’ll have the opportunity to develop coding skills in Java and Python, contribute to system architecture reviews, design and test solutions which make a real impact.

The majority of roles in this remit are office-based; 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday), whilst some are offered on a remote basis.

Eligibility

  • Must be a second-year undergraduate student on a placement year course returning to study in Autumn 2027

  • Must have the right to work in the UK already in place

  • Available to start working full time from June 2026

  • Interested in the area you are applying for, whether this is through your studies, experiences, extracurricular activities or a general interest

About you

  • A strong curiosity in either of the following areas: IT, computer science, software engineering, development ops, computer system, cyber security or business

  • Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure

  • Ability to connect with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner

  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties
