Job Summary:

At Disney Experiences Technology, our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands including Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. The Disney Experiences Technology team is responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including the MyDisneyExperience app and Hey, Disney!

What You’ll Do:

As a Sr. Vendor Management Specialist at Disney Experiences Technology, you will play a crucial role in creating world-class immersive digital experiences for Disney's premier vacation brands. This role is part of the Supplier Partnerships & Ops Technology (SPOT) Vendor Management organization within DXT. You will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, handling confidential data, and performing complex analyses to support the larger tech and digital organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing vendor management activities, ensuring contract compliance, and providing analytical support to drive strategic decisions. You will interact with directors and technical executives, manage high-value contracts, and participate in data analysis projects. This role is vital to maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring the success of Disney's digital and technology initiatives. Key skills required for this role include strong analytical abilities, excellent collaboration, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision.

  • Update contractual exhibits in accordance with established guidelines, issue Bridge Contracts, and perform amendment reconciliation analysis.

  • Govern contracts valued in excess of $500M.

  • Interact weekly with Director and technical executives.

  • Perform proposal analysis on complex proposals to ensure contract compliance and alignment with internal requirements.

  • Participate in ad hoc data analysis for supplier performance, internal portfolio analysis, supplier portfolio analysis, and other projects as required.

  • Create and update annual contractual commitment analysis.

  • Define and communicate purchase order content and validate invoices.

  • Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to support decision-making using precise and relevant data.

  • Analyze data and information to understand their correlations, creating executive-level summaries that articulate the insights in a synthesized manner.

  • Provide information to recommend process improvements when necessary.

  • Inspire individual and business success by facing complex challenges with an open mindset, creativity, and agility.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in relationship and partnership management, data and information analysis, or a similar field, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and proven analytical acumen.

  • Demonstrated ability to update contractual exhibits, perform reconciliation analysis on amendments, and create Bridge Contracts.

  • Extensive experience and demonstrated ability to accurately and concisely perform complex analysis in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform analysis for supplier portfolios, internal group portfolios, supplier performance, and contractual commitments.

  • Possesses a team-centric approach, cultivating robust partnerships across various functions with a high degree of ownership.

  • Demonstrated ability to strategically and flexibly adapt to the evolving demands of business and technology.

  • Effective ability to adapt to changes based on leadership feedback.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priority requests, proposals, and contracts effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Extensive experience creating and leveraging complex, very large, spreadsheets.

  • Experience representing Disney in discussions with large, strategic vendors.

  • Experience working directly with enterprise vendors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in vendor management.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to explain difficult concepts and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view.

  • Experience leading functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
