Job Summary:

About the Role & Team

We are looking for a Scheduler to join our local team producing daily transmission schedules for assigned channels in Broadcast Management System (BMS) in line with Programming strategy, Communication Strategy, Legal Frames and 3rd party commercial commitments. 

This role is a Fixed-Term Contract and will require you to be working 4 days a week in our office and 1 day from home. 

 

What You Will Do

Work closely with Programming, Marketing & On Air, Ad Sales and Technical Operation teams to produce and deliver the highest quality television products in line with the brand strategy and company objectives in multi-territory environment.    

This includes:  

  • Preparation and export of daily transmission log (playlist) for assigned channels based on approved Scheduling Workflow, within the assigned deadlines and in line with programming priorities, Ad Sales needs and Legal regulations. 

  • Ensure quality check of Log files (programs information, sales, promotion campaigns, presentation, primary and secondary events, etc.) is performed prior to the export to Play-Out. 

  • Provide daily log´s reconciliation within approved deadlines and reports to other departments upon request. 

  • Create and update Break formats and Break patterns in accordance with required Ad Sales time, Programming and Communication strategy. 

  • Create monthly make list (all required primary and secondary graphic elements such as station ID, bumpers, bugs, etc.) and create respective elements in BMS in line with EU Naming Convention. 

  • Create in BMS sys all primary promotion elements (promos) for on-air communication of assigned channels, accurately reflecting communication specifics, legal/commercial restrictions and in line with EU Naming Convention. 

  • Apply EU communication strategy for each communicated title in accordance with assigned Priority and in line with SoV Targets of the channel. 

  • Inventory management – ensure all elements created in BMS are in line with EU Naming Convention and inactive campaigns are archived in а timely manner. 

  • Ensure all short elements (primary and secondary elements) are booked/applied in BMS sys using Promo Optimization and other available tools as follows: 

  • Logo elements – spanning of all elements of the forthcoming month should be completed no later than 1 week prior to its commencement. 

  • Promo elements – spanning should be completed no later than 2 weeks prior to log’s export to broadcast. 

  • Stays updated on new BMS sys functionalities and tools developed, EU communication strategy newsletters and updates, Programming Highlights and Grids. 

  • Reporting weekly 5’15; monthly commercial time report and promo campaign reporting.  

  • Maintain and update thorough information of the market and competition schedules and based on this suggest for opportunities and notify for possible threats for TWDC channels’ performance deriving from market observation. 

  • Ad-hoc job-related duties and reports when required. 

 

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Fluent Bulgarian & English. 

  • Strong team player; collaborative attitude. 

  • Previous experience in Media Industry or Data Entry would be a distinct advantage. 

  • Possess excellent communication skills. 

  • Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills. 

  • Results orientation; commercially minded. 

  • Be committed to on-going learning and have ability to drive innovation and creativity. 

  • Practical approach to problem solving; track record of demonstrating initiative. 

  • Strong cultural awareness and flexibility. 

  • Microsoft Office skills (intermediate to advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 

  • Experience with international company desirable

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
