Senior Specialist – Brand Integration & Governance

The role of the Corporate Brand organization is to combine a deep understanding of our global consumer with strategies, initiatives and campaigns to both protect and grow our brands and key franchises. 

The Sr. Specialist - Brand Integration & Governance will help ensure the successful execution of The Walt Disney Company’s enterprise-wide YouTube initiative and support the ongoing governance required for our YouTube channels.  The Sr. Specialist will be responsible for tracking and updating policies for our YouTube channels and working with stakeholders from across the company to ensure compliance and successful growth across key metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Governance
    • Support the governance and tracking of The Walt Disney Company’s YouTube Content Owner (CO) ecosystems and underlying channels
    • Areas of focus include, but are not limited to user permissions, advertising policy, etc.
    • Ensure channels are adequately categorized as MFK vs GA and are properly integrated into their respective environments.

  • Policy Oversight
    • Understand policies for use across the enterprise ranging from channel management, monetization, compliance, etc.
    • Track adherence to policies and suggest changes and improvements over time

  • Strategy Execution
    • Help facilitate the successful processing of new channel creation or deprecation
    • Coordinate with necessary stakeholders the transfer of videos across channels
    • Coordinate the migration of channels between Disney O&O Content Owners.
    • Liaison between content stakeholders and Disney Anti-Piracy.

  • Reporting
    • Strong understanding of YouTube Analytics and ability to report on channel performance and revenue as needed
    • Ensure regular distribution of finance reporting to key stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of YouTube channel management and key performance metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Digital content background with dedicated focus on YouTube
  • Capable and comfortable with quantitative analysis
  • Can work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and positive attitude and a desire to get things done

Preferred Qualifications:

  • YouTube Certified (Content Ownership and Asset Management)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $104,800.00 to $128,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
