Department/Group Overview:

The Revenue & Yield Management teams develop and guide the revenue strategy for each brand within the Disney Portfolio. The team models, measures, sets and executes these strategies by marketplace, in parallel with identifying consistencies across the business that will better inform cross portfolio packaging and sales. Job Summary: Describe what the person will do in the role - how he/she will impact the organization. The analyst in the Digital Revenue Analytics group will be responsible for revenue reporting/pacing, contribute in the budget and forecasting process, and work with data platforms to build out reporting features and enhancements. This person will also work on risk and opportunity analyses, CPM/Liability reports for Sales’ usage, and various other ad hoc revenue related projects. The right person for this role is a highly analytical thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

  • Ad hoc projects; revenue impact analyses for new products, content, changes in distribution model; working on new reporting based on evolving business needs
  • Recurring distribution of revenue summary reports to finance, executive leadership, and RYM Inventory and Pricing counterparts
  • Working with data and sales enablement teams to set up reporting tools and for proper revenue recognition and automation
  • Analyzing and communicating where there are risks and opportunities across the digital portfolio
  • Time Assist in budget and forecasting process including quarter end close and reconciliations
     

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience, digital media a plus
  • System experience in ad reporting tools (Operative, Salesforce, Google Ad Manager) and BI tools (Tableau, Microstrategy) is a plus
  • Detail-oriented and ability to prioritize multiple projects/multi-task
  • Expert in Excel • Strong communication, organization and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative and team player
  • Ability to work in a fast changing work environment
  • Bachelors degree preferred

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $75,500 - $101,200per year, and in Santa Monica, CA is $72,000 - $96,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
