Sr. Specialist Growth Automation
In this role, you will utilize your specialized knowledge of messaging channel end-to-end solutioning to enable global commerce, identity, and research messaging. Your role is critical to ensuring compliance messaging functions per the requirements while partnering with commerce and identity engineering/product to ensure observability, redundancies, and other mitigation tactics are in place.
Additionally, you partner with research teams to field global research studies via messaging solutions that your team manages end-to-end. You ensure relentless sustainment of a high-quality user experience through a rigorous quality assurance approach and intra-team peer feedback. You utilize experimentation methods to improve user engagement and reflect against insights to understand the impact of your solutions.
Responsibilities:
Engage marketers in refinement sessions to clarify strategy requirements to finalize intake.
Provides custom or experimental solution design against a marketer strategy requirement and gains marketer acceptance of the solution.
Builds messaging solutions and conducts self-quality assurance testing.
Conducts marketer user acceptance testing (UAT) for custom solutions.
Conducts peer-review quality assurance for Marketing Operations counterparts to enable a deployment ready status.
Actively monitors solution deployment for a limited period to identify potential bugs to remediate or mitigate readily.
Utilizes business intelligence reporting or direct analytical queries to determine the business impact of the solution, then utilizes that insight in go-forward refinement sessions or team reporting.
Basic Qualifications:
At least 3 years of work experience in marketing operations, analytics, or equivalent applied roles
At least 1 year of experience working in agile teams
Bachelor’s degree in technology or business domains with a quantitative focus or equivalent experience required
Experience with Jira
Applied coding of template scripting languages (e.g., liquid, handlebars)
Working knowledge of messaging best practices (email, push, in-app)
Experience conducting experiments to minimize bias against the experimental design
Possessing a high bar for quality, and the ability to readily spot potential bugs
Superb writing skills to utilize for documentation, solution design, and insights
Excellent communication skills with globally diverse cultures
Curious and analytic mindset, striving to continuously improve expertise
Ability to be on-call when business-critical launches occur
Preferred Qualifications:
Active certifications in messaging platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Adobe Experience Manager)
Working knowledge of SQL
Verbal and writing proficiency in multiple languages
The hiring range for this position in NYC, NY is $108,500 - $145,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
